Monday Practice

Please wear your black maria pants with your graffiti top to practice tomorrow and bring your thriller costume.
If you haven't turned in your black shoes and they need to be replaced please bring those tomorrow as well.

Homecoming Assembly, Parade and Halftime!

I am soooo Proud of the ShaRonns!! They have been working so hard this year to have team unity and dance as a team! Having 25 girls together day in and day out with different personalities definitely can present challenges but even when this team makes mistakes and has small quarrels they definitely try hard to be better the next day and move on from the past. They are improving as young women on and off the dance floor.
I couldn't be more impressed with a group of girls then I am now!
They did are defiantly on their way to accomplishing their goals!!

Thriller

DATE CHANGE!!

We will be going to Thriller on October 10th its a Friday night. It is at Kingsburry Hall at the University of Utah.

Homecoming

Wahoo!! This has been a busy and fun week for Tooele High School!

We are excited to have the opportunity to perform at the school Homecoming assembly tomorrow Friday the 26th @ 1:30 pm. 

Then we will be a part of the Homecoming parade..Meet at 4 pm at the stake center across from the cemetery. 

Then following the parade we will get ready for our half-time performance.

** Day wear- you will need to wear Team Jersey and jeans to school with hair in a high ponytail curly, with performance makeup done!! (must wear eyelashes)

** Assembly-  black maria pants with team jersey and gore boots.

**Parade-  Nerd outfits with two low pony tails and sparkle team shoes and scooter. (must wear tights if wearing a skirt or shorts.)

Halftime- nerd outfits with gore boots.

REMEMBER if you want to earn merits or work off demerits this Saturday you can volunteer at the Children's Book Festival at the community learning center 211 s. Tooele Blvd.

9:30 am -2 pm.

Also if you are going to Thriller October 11th at 4:30 pm then you need to get $30 to me asap.

Baird Family!

Jamie Baird was a young single mother of three children.  Jamie lost her husband and the father of her children 11 years ago last week. Jamie unexpectedly passed away early Thursday morning leaving her children with no father or mother.  Jamie was her children’s biggest supporter and friend! She was always giving to others and had a spunky personality! She will be desperately missed by her children and all who knew her.   Jamie had No life insurance, Please help the Baird children by donating to help pay for funeral expenses and living expenses.

We are hoping to help ease the burden for this beautiful family by allowing them to focus on healing and looking towards a positive future!  THANK YOU IN ADVANCE FOR PAYING IT FORWARD!!

Spotlights

Courtney Baird

Courtney is sixteen years old and is a junior this year. She also has two siblings. Courtney has danced for 13 years and loves hip-hop or jazz. Favorite food is Mexican. Favorite color is Tiffany blue, mint or anything neon and her favorite movie is the notebook. Courtney is full of life and always has a funny story to keep her friends laughing!

McKenna Banks

Mckenna is a fourteen year old freshman. She has four siblings, including her own twin! Mckenna has danced for five years. Her favorite type of dance is jazz. She loves to play soccer and dance. Her favorite food is skittles, loves the color teal and her favorite movies are all the Shrek movies. McKenna has a huge beautiful smile that is contagious will all around her!

September news

Please turn in your sparkle purple top this Friday.

We need to start collecting motor scooters for the Homecoming Parade!! Please let me know if you have one!

The team will be performing at an assembly on Friday September 26th then doing the Homecoming parade that afternoon and halftime later that evening. We will be selling our t-shirts this night so please let Jen Jacobsen know if you are still available to help.

Saturday September 27th there will be practice from 6-8:30 am following practice the girls have an opportunity to work off demerits or earn merits for every hour of service they do at the Children's Literacy fair. 

October 1 and 2 we will have practices before and after school on the football field in preparation for the half time routine with Stansbury. Times will be announced later. SLEEP OVER AT HIGH SCHOOL AFTER STANSBURY foot ball game September 3rd.

The officers are planning a night out to Oddessy THRILLER October 11th 7:30 pm. Tickets are $30 and must be purchased in advance. Please let Abi McKinney know if you can attend this event ASAP. Tickets in a group sell out fast and have been on sale since August.

Techqniue

Just a reminder for anyone who has signed up for the Dancer's Edge Technique class on Mondays it will start at 3 pm and go until 4 pm!!

I can't wait to teach everyone new turns and leaps this semester and perfect everything you know thus far!!

This Thursday there will be No practice so that the team can have the opportunity and choice to attend the first Morningside of the school year.
