Dress Rehearsal

Tomorrow Saturday November 15th starting at 6 am we will have a dress rehearsal for competitions at Blue Peak High.

Please come dressed in your bike-tard with tan tights and with your hair in a high sock bun (hair net)  with competition make-up completely done!

Bring your military and Dance costumes with all your shoes!!!! Kick costume will arrive later that morning. 

Our practice will end at 11:30 am tomorrow.

Real Game

Tomorrow is the day that we get to perform at the REAL half time!!

THRILLER is finally here!!! I am so excited to to with everyone to tonight's show at Kingsbury hall. 

Please be to the high school by 4:20 pm in the front parking lot. We will leave right at 4:30 pm to make our dinner reservations at 5:30 in SLC.

I will be driving a school suburban. I also have to other mothers that will be driving so that we can accommodate all the girls going. 

I know this will be the most exciting news of the day--I have canceled practice for tomorrow! ENJOY your 5 day weekend and come back with great attitudes ready to practice like the chaps you are on MONDAY!!!

Thursday Halftime

Reminder that we have a game this Thursday at 7 pm...Please parents be there by 6 pm to set up our booth. We will be selling t-shirts, face-paint, cookies, water and jerky. Depending on the weather Hot Chocolate might be a good idea??

If Everyone donated one box of hot chocolate I could buy the cups and bring the hot water.

The Team will be performing their camp dance again, and wearing their Maria's with their red top...if they have a strapless bra that doesn't show they are welcome to wear it. 

For School they will need to wear their Purple tops with jeans and their purple head band. ( I will give those out tomorrow at practice).

Reminder**Thriller will be next Tuesday...we are leaving at 4:30 pm and getting home around 10:30 pm at the latest. They will need money for dinner at the Olive Garden. 

Also don't forget about REAL - October 22nd the team will leave at 5:30 am. On District buses. We will stay in SLC until the game is over. Please send your daughter with a sack lunch and dinner or send her with money. We will have dead time from 1-4:30 pm and be spending that time at the District or Jordan Landing. Half time will be around 8 pm. if you give me a written consent form BEFORE THE 22nd you can take your daughter home with you after the game, or after halftime. 

*** Very important parent meeting that is mandatory for all drill parents Tuesday NOVEMBER 4th at 6 pm. In the Dance room at the high school. PLEASE MARK CALENDARS and plan on attending!!!

Homecoming Assembly, Parade and Halftime!

I am soooo Proud of the ShaRonns!! They have been working so hard this year to have team unity and dance as a team! Having 25 girls together day in and day out with different personalities definitely can present challenges but even when this team makes mistakes and has small quarrels they definitely try hard to be better the next day and move on from the past. They are improving as young women on and off the dance floor.
I couldn't be more impressed with a group of girls then I am now!
They did are defiantly on their way to accomplishing their goals!!

DATE CHANGE!!

We will be going to Thriller on October 10th its a Friday night. It is at Kingsburry Hall at the University of Utah.

Homecoming

Wahoo!! This has been a busy and fun week for Tooele High School!

We are excited to have the opportunity to perform at the school Homecoming assembly tomorrow Friday the 26th @ 1:30 pm. 

Then we will be a part of the Homecoming parade..Meet at 4 pm at the stake center across from the cemetery. 

Then following the parade we will get ready for our half-time performance.

** Day wear- you will need to wear Team Jersey and jeans to school with hair in a high ponytail curly, with performance makeup done!! (must wear eyelashes)

** Assembly-  black maria pants with team jersey and gore boots.

**Parade-  Nerd outfits with two low pony tails and sparkle team shoes and scooter. (must wear tights if wearing a skirt or shorts.)

Halftime- nerd outfits with gore boots.

REMEMBER if you want to earn merits or work off demerits this Saturday you can volunteer at the Children's Book Festival at the community learning center 211 s. Tooele Blvd.

9:30 am -2 pm.

Also if you are going to Thriller October 11th at 4:30 pm then you need to get $30 to me asap.

Baird Family!

Jamie Baird was a young single mother of three children.  Jamie lost her husband and the father of her children 11 years ago last week. Jamie unexpectedly passed away early Thursday morning leaving her children with no father or mother.  Jamie was her children’s biggest supporter and friend! She was always giving to others and had a spunky personality! She will be desperately missed by her children and all who knew her.   Jamie had No life insurance, Please help the Baird children by donating to help pay for funeral expenses and living expenses.

We are hoping to help ease the burden for this beautiful family by allowing them to focus on healing and looking towards a positive future!  THANK YOU IN ADVANCE FOR PAYING IT FORWARD!!

Courtney Baird

Courtney is sixteen years old and is a junior this year. She also has two siblings. Courtney has danced for 13 years and loves hip-hop or jazz. Favorite food is Mexican. Favorite color is Tiffany blue, mint or anything neon and her favorite movie is the notebook. Courtney is full of life and always has a funny story to keep her friends laughing!

McKenna Banks

Mckenna is a fourteen year old freshman. She has four siblings, including her own twin! Mckenna has danced for five years. Her favorite type of dance is jazz. She loves to play soccer and dance. Her favorite food is skittles, loves the color teal and her favorite movies are all the Shrek movies. McKenna has a huge beautiful smile that is contagious will all around her!

We need to start collecting motor scooters for the Homecoming Parade!! Please let me know if you have one!

The team will be performing at an assembly on Friday September 26th then doing the Homecoming parade that afternoon and halftime later that evening. We will be selling our t-shirts this night so please let Jen Jacobsen know if you are still available to help.

Saturday September 27th there will be practice from 6-8:30 am following practice the girls have an opportunity to work off demerits or earn merits for every hour of service they do at the Children's Literacy fair. 

October 1 and 2 we will have practices before and after school on the football field in preparation for the half time routine with Stansbury. Times will be announced later. SLEEP OVER AT HIGH SCHOOL AFTER STANSBURY foot ball game September 3rd.

The officers are planning a night out to Oddessy THRILLER October 11th 7:30 pm. Tickets are $30 and must be purchased in advance. Please let Abi McKinney know if you can attend this event ASAP. Tickets in a group sell out fast and have been on sale since August.

Techqniue

Just a reminder for anyone who has signed up for the Dancer's Edge Technique class on Mondays it will start at 3 pm and go until 4 pm!!

I can't wait to teach everyone new turns and leaps this semester and perfect everything you know thus far!!

Technique

Just a little reminder for those of you planning on taking the technique class on Monday afternoons that registration needs to be turned in ASAP!

I am so happy that so many of you choose to take this class during the summer and can see huge results in our team because of it!

If you want to still take this class it will be Mondays at 2 and 3 pm.

Tailgating fundraiser

We have a slight change to what we need the girls to bring to the Tailgating fundraiser.  Girls who's roll call number is 1-11 please bring ONE package of hot dog buns.  Girls whose roll call number is 12-22 please bring ONE package of hamburger buns.  #23 please bring one big bottle of ketchup, #24 bring one big bottle of mustard, and #25 please bring one big bottle of relish. Girls need to help at the fundraiser, we need everyone there by 4:30.

We will have the girls deliver flyers to the neighborhood they live in after school tomorrow!!!

I hope everyone had a great weekend and enjoyed sleeping in! I know I did!!!

We will start practice again on Wed. at 6 am meet at the Track!

Erin is fourteen years old and will be a freshman this year. She has two siblings; one older sister and one younger brother. She has danced for eleven years and just loves ballet. Her favorite things to do is dance, sleep and read. I will be driving the school suburban so if anyone needs a ride to the cabin and home I am happy to help! I can fit 7 girls....I need them to meet at my home no later than 5:30 pm so that we can make it up to the cabin by 6 pm. I will be leaving at 8 am in the morning so if you want a ride home let me know. I have Shelby listed as take to and from the cabin, Hannah to the cabin, and Kailee home from the cabin.

I spend a lot of time behind the computer editing and making sure the quality that you get is the very best.
When I send out the galleries to parents, it is important to know that taking screen shots is not allowed.  The images are protected from being downloaded and are not yet edited.  When screen shots are being taken, it violates the copyright law and when you post them online, it makes for very poor quality and reflects poorly on my business.
If you would like to purchase the digital images, you are welcome to share them after you receive them and post them as you would like.  When you do this, please do not put a filter on the images on Instagram.
